Its all about balance – This remains my motto
If you are exercising 3 hours a day, eating perfectly all.the.time I might be jealous of your body, but I am definitely not envious of your life.
Do what you can – do what you know you can stick to. I currently exercise about 5 hours a week which is 3% of my week. it is all I am willing/able to do and that makes it enough….for me…for now.
It’s all about a journey towards getting healthier no quick fixes, no guilt trips.
Update – I am now 8,45 kilos lighter – in just over 4 months 🙂 – that ,45 matters 😉
I am a firm believer that you cannot out train a bad diet – here are some of the mistakes I’ve learnt along the way mostly to do with nutrition.
Now I realize that this probably should have been the first post I wrote but I was definitely not a kid who colored inside the lines. Better late than never I guess?
Since my last post Ive had lots of people asking how to start and my answer is start.
What are you doing?
You have to know where you are going in order to get there so get that sorted up front – be realistic with your goals – you are not going to get a six pack in a week.
Trash the trash.
Get rid of all easily accessible temptations around you and the getting rid part cannot be aided by your mouth.
Just 3,5 months ago I had never entered a gym(unless forced) I ate/drank what I wanted when I wanted (which was often) so bear in mind that I am a Fitidiot and take what I say with caution 😉
I am going to share my personal experiences with you in an attempt to help you (where I can) but a large part of this return to my blog is for selfish reasons.

I am an excuse extraordinaire and this will provide some form of accoutability.
